Great Western Painting firmly believes that each of us has a social responsibility to the community in which we live. During 2010, we had a promotion where participating clients contributed 10% of the value of their job to a charitable organization of their choosing. Through this program and other contributions, GWP was able to donate in excess of $2200 to a variety of charities in and around the Calgary area. We look forward to offering this program once again in 2011. Additionally, we are very pleased to be a participant in the Victory Manor. Transforming the former Ogden Hotel into a vibrant part of the Calgary community, Victory church is changing lives. Through its affordable housing, financial management programs, and many counselling programs, Victory Manor is addressing the physical, mental and spiritual needs of its residents. Great Western Painting has been extremely fortunate to participate in the housing portion of the renovation and is proud to have contributed twenty five percent of the painting project. If you would like more information regarding the project, or would like to donate, please visit their website at www.victoryfoundation.ca At times, each of our efforts may feel like a ‘drop in the bucket’, but collectively, we truly can make a difference. It is our goal to continue to be an active member in Calgary and build on our accomplishments. |
